General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
These GTC govern the legal relationship between Tango in Salzburg and attendees of Tango in Salzburg events. They apply to all events organized by Tango in Salzburg.
1. TICKET PRICES
The prices listed in all our publications apply (except in cases of printing errors). In case of discrepancies, the prices published in our online ticket shop apply.
2. TICKET PURCHASE
For ticket purchase information, please call +43 664 3084014, email tangoinsalzburg@outlook.com, visit our online ticket shop at https://www.salzburg-tango.com/ (24/7), or purchase tickets at the box office of the respective event starting one hour before the event begins.
3. PAYMENT
For orders placed via email: The invoice will be sent to you, and the tickets will be sent after payment is received.
For orders placed through the online ticket shop: Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or other common and standard payment methods.
3.1 EXPIRATION OF UNPAID TICKETS
Tickets ordered but not paid for (i.e., credited to Tango in Salzburg’s account or confirmed by the credit card company) by one week prior to the event will be forfeited.
3.2 No Postal Delivery
Tickets can no longer be sent by mail starting two weeks before the event. They can only be purchased at the ticket shop or at the box office.
3.3 Lost Tickets
A duplicate ticket can be issued for a processing fee of €5 per reprint. The original ticket will then become invalid.
It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to check the information on their ticket. Please contact Tango in Salzburg immediately if you find any errors. Claims made after this time cannot be accepted.
4. SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR ONLINE PURCHASES
The ticket shop at https://www.salzburg-tango.com/ offers the option to log in as a previously registered user or to register as a new user. Upon purchase, the ticket will be sent to you via email after your payment has been received.
The ticket must be printed and brought to the event and presented upon entry, or shown as a mobile ticket or PDF on your smartphone. The barcode on the ticket must be printed correctly. Copying or altering the printed ticket is prohibited.
Printed tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Payment in the ticket shop is possible using your chosen payment method. Online payments are processed via verified partner companies (PayPal, Stripe) using secure data transmission (SSL). Tango in Salzburg accepts no liability for damages resulting from criminal activity or manipulation by third parties.
5. TICKET REFUNDS
Purchased tickets are non-exchangeable, and the purchase price is non-refundable. No replacements will be provided for unused or partially used tickets or lost tickets. Exceptions are made for death and serious illness, which will be handled individually in each case.
6. CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF EVENTS
If a different event is held instead of the event whose title is printed on the ticket, or if the event is canceled without replacement, customers will receive a full refund of the ticket price or a pro-rata refund in the case of a canceled event. Refunds may also be issued in the form of vouchers.
Changes to the cast, program, or start times do not entitle ticket holders to a refund. In the event of changes, Tango in Salzburg will make every reasonable effort to inform customers (by email, text message, letter, or telephone). However, there is no entitlement to information regarding changes to the cast, program, or start times. Claims for damages against Tango in Salzburg due to a lack of information are therefore invalid. It is the customer’s responsibility to stay informed about any changes. Current information can be found on the Tango in Salzburg website at https://www.salzburg-tango.com/.
If an event is canceled, a replacement event will be offered. If this is not possible, the ticket price will only be refunded if less than half of the event has been completed at the time of cancellation.
7. HOUSE RULES
By purchasing a ticket, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by the house rules of the respective venue. As a general rule, a valid ticket must be presented to the staff of the organizer or venue upon request. Each valid ticket entitles the holder to attend the event described on it. If tickets are assigned seats, only the seat indicated on the ticket may be occupied. Entry to Tango in Salzburg events may be refused to individuals if there is reason to believe they will disrupt the event or disturb other attendees. Entry may also be refused to individuals who have previously violated the terms and conditions at other events. Customers may be removed from the event if they disrupt it, disturb others, or occupy a seat to which they have not been assigned. In this case, no refund will be issued.
8. PHOTOGRAPHY AND AUDIO RECORDINGS
Visitors agree that photos, audio, and video recordings taken during events may be used by Tango in Salzburg for publications at any time and without any claim to financial compensation, and do not consider this an infringement of their personal rights. Tango in Salzburg always strives to avoid singling out individuals in photos and videos; however, this may occasionally occur.
Photographs and audio recordings of customers are not permitted, as their personal rights cannot be protected.
9. DATA PROTECTION
When making a reservation or order, customers are asked to provide their personal data (name, address, telephone number, email address). Tango in Salzburg reserves the right to store this data electronically. The same applies to the data of newsletter subscribers from Tango in Salzburg.
The customer agrees that their personal data, such as name, address, email address, and telephone number, may be processed for the purposes of business transactions, invoicing, internal evaluation for marketing purposes, and sending promotional material (by mail and/or email) for further projects by Tango in Salzburg. The data may also be shared with business partners for the aforementioned purposes, insofar as this is necessary for business transactions.
10. CONTENT OF OUR PUBLICATIONS, INCLUDING WEBSITE
Each publication of Tango in Salzburg contains an imprint. The use of the texts and images contained therein—even in excerpts—is permitted only with the express permission of Tango in Salzburg. Tango in Salzburg assumes no liability for any errors or defects in the website and print media.
11. LIABILITY
The customer is only entitled to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or from the breach of essential contractual obligations, i.e., those whose fulfillment is necessary to achieve the purpose of the contract. Furthermore, Tango in Salzburg is also liable for damages caused by an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by Tango in Salzburg or its legal representatives. In the case of damages caused by vicarious agents, it should be noted that a connection to the contractually owed service must exist in order to assert claims for compensation.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, Tango in Salzburg is only liable for the typical, foreseeable damages if these were caused negligently, unless the customer’s claims for damages arise from personal injury.
13. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Tango in Salzburg does not grant any specific rights of withdrawal with regard to the purchase of tickets. It should also be noted that there are no statutory rights of withdrawal within the meaning of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Sales Act (FAGG).
13. SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND CHOICE OF LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by Austrian law. Tango in Salzburg reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The place of jurisdiction is Salzburg.
14. EU DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Information on online dispute resolution: Consumers have the option of submitting complaints to the EU’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show&lng=DE.
