Tango in Salzburg’s Hidden Spaces
Discover a different side of Salzburg!
For this event series, we are always on the lookout for new locations. Private homes, museums, and shops are transformed into dance spaces, creating diverse and unconventional milongas in extraordinary settings.
Places change with the people who gather in them. Through the music, the embrace, and the movement, new perspectives emerge, energy takes on a different quality, and a truly distinctive atmosphere is created. It is precisely the uniqueness of each event that makes it so special.
Unlike the regular continuity we offer with our AfterWork Milonga on Wednesdays, Tango in the Houses of the City is all about singular, unrepeatable experiences. No venue will be used twice. We seek out historic places in Salzburg that have no connection to tango at all — and then, for a few hours, we fill them with tango, bringing them to life in a new way and adding a touch of magic.
The format: A few times a year, we host a milonga with DJ in a special location.
Sundays, 11:00 am–2:00 pm Admission: €10
Dates for 2026: Jan 18 (Old City Hall), March 15 (Restaurant “Goldene Kugel”), June 7 (Museum Pavillion in Mirabellgarten, Sept 27 (open)
As capacity is limited at each venue, advance registration is required.
